When you’re trapped between two worlds in time and the Scottish Highlands are your new landscape, keep warm with this versatile wool cowl.

This cowl is inspired by the cowl worn by Claire Randall on the hit series Outlander.

I’ve studied the photos online and I think I have a really close interpretation. The cowl is knit entirely in Garter Stitch and the seam from Provisional Cast On and Kitchener Stitch is completely INVISIBLE!

The pattern has two full twists worked into the cowl so there’s no need to fuss with it after putting it on.

Cowl is SUPER stretchy and can be pulled down over your shoulders for an adorable little Capelet or pulled over your head and worn as a hood.

Finished Dimension: (Unstretched) 15” wide X 35” circumference. Will stretch out to about 20” wide X 50”.

Please feel free to share the pattern with friends, knit for resale and alter as you wish. I only ask that you do not sell the pattern, as it is and will remain…free.
Thank you!
