The Genevieve Fur Hooded Vest is a fun and unique knitted garment, inspired by post apocalyptic fashion and the bohemian avant-garde. Keeping Nordic sensibilities in mind, this 100% wool vest is functional as well as stylish, and is a relatively easy knit providing immense gratification.

Finished measurements:
Small ~ 32-34” chest
Medium ~ 36-38” chest
Large ~ 40-42” chest
Hood: 15” high x 10.5” deep
Note: size Small is pictured on a women’s size 6/34B dress form.

Skill level: Intermediate (grafting required)

#4 worsted weight yarn, held double (wool recommended), approx. 880 (980, 1080) yards, OR
#5 bulky weight yarn (wool recommended), approx. 440 (490, 540) yards
#6 super bulky weight wool fur yarn (Erika Knight Fur Wool Yarn recommended), approx. 44 (54, 64) yards OR
#5 bulky weight wool fur yarn, held double (Rowan Wool Fur recommended), approx. 88 (108, 128) yards.
US size 11 24” and 35” circular needles
Note: both sets of US size 11 circular needles are in use at the same time during the pattern development. Interchangeable cables only will not be sufficient.
