Pattern Description

Nine-year-old Cleo had recently become quite the party girl. With all sorts of upcoming birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and various other school events, she told her mother that she really didn’t have anything to wear to all these things. She said that everything she owned was “too little girlish.” “I need something more grown up,” she told her mother, “more glamorous!” Her mom just shrugged her shoulders. But luckily Cleo’s aunt, Jordana, overheard this complaint and told Cleo that she had the perfect solution. She’d been envisioning a design for a fun coat to fit a young glamour girl. It had a cute flair at the bottom and was edged in a yarn that was funky and fabulous. SO the next day at work, Jordana picked out some great yarns and began knitting this coat for Cleo. Cleo loved the coat, and at the next birthday party, all of Cleo’s friends told her how glamorous she looked.
