Going to the Playoffs Shawl

I made this shawl while the Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons in January of 2006, to win their spot as a Wild Card team for their division. It was quite a win, and I think I should design something else for each playoff game, in case it’s my crocheting that’s keeping our boys playing so well! –grin-

I used worsted weight yarn (4 balls of Red Heart Soft) and a size K hook, so that the fabric wouldn’t be too stiff. Experiment with yarn and hook combinations until you find one you like! This is another shawl that starts easy and keeps going until you’re ready to end it, so yarn and hook size really don’t matter, as long as they work well together. I’ve also done one in RH Plush, with a size N hook, and it turned out very nicely, indeed.
