The Haze Pullover is as comfortable as the sweatshirt you stole from your high school boyfriend, but still polished enough that you can wear it to your class reunion. A simple, boxy shape with drop shoulders and a round neck make this sweater effortlessly chic and cozy. Wear it over leggings or ripped jeans or even with your favorite fitted skirt to work.

This design calls for the luscious “A Silky Brushed Alpaca” by Yarn Snob Yarns to be held double strand. The tweed effect is achieved by holding a strand of cream together with a strand of grey, but the sweater would look equally spectacular in a solid color of Aran or light chunky weight held single strand.

Construction Details:
The sweater is worked with minimal seaming from the bottom edge towards the neck. After working the body in the round to the armhole, the sweater is split and worked flat for the front and back armholes and shoulders. Shoulders are seamed and then sleeve stitches are picked up around armhole. Sleeves are worked in the round from the shoulders toward the cuff.

Suggestions are provided in the pattern for where to shorten or lengthen the body and sleeves.

Skills Required:

Adult Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)

To fit bust: 29 (33, 37, 41, 45)(49, 53, 57, 61)”/74 (84, 94, 104, 114.5)(124.5, 135, 145, 155) cm

Finished bust: 39.5 (43.5, 47.5, 51.5, 55.5)(59.5, 63.5, 67.5, 71.5)/100 (110, 121, 131, 141)(151, 161, 171, 182) cm.

Recommended ease is 8-10.5”/20-27 cm. If you are between sizes, go down a size for a more fitted look or up a size for an even boxier look. Shaina is 5’2”/158 cm tall and has a 39”/99 cm bust and is wearing a size 4 sweater.

Finished Length: 22 (22.5, 23, 23.5, 24)(24.5, 25, 26, 26.5)”/56 (57, 58, 60, 61)(62, 64, 66, 67) cm.

Additional measurements can be found on the schematic provided in the pattern.

Gauge: 14 stitches and 18 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together, blocked, using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 10 (6 mm) 40”/100 cm and 16”/40 cm circular needles and DPN or size needed for gauge and US 9 (5.5 mm) 40”/100 cm and 16”/40 cm circular needles and DPN or one size smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Yarn:
2 colors of fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarn, 600 (650, 725, 775, 850)(925, 1000, 1100, 1175) yards each to be held doubled. Or worsted weight (CYCA #4) yarn, 600 (650, 725, 775, 850)(925, 1000, 1100, 1175) yards total to be held single strand.
