The second annual Hostess Hat is now available for HOLLY-day knitting!! This is the “sister” hat to last year’s The Hostess Hat.

Make one for yourself to wear when you are the hostess OR make it as a hostess gift! It instantly adds some festive flair to the holiday season!!

Sizes
Small S (18”), Medium M (19”), Large L (20”), Extra Large XL (21”)
Standard Fit Hat: Overall length is approx. 8-8 ½ inches
Slouchy Hat: Overall length is approx. 9-9 ½ inches

Materials
Worsted weight yarn cream or white.
Shown in Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian wool, 220yds/100 gms); Natural 8010 (~50 gms, not incl embellishments)

Gauge
20 sts and 28 rounds in stranded knitting on larger needle

Needles
US Size 6 (4mm) circular needles or size needed to achieve gauge; length depends on your preferred knitting technique (i.e., magic loop, etc.) for ~20 inches in the round;

US Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles (one size smaller than above, for ribbing), see note about length

Size 6 DPNs (for shaping at crown)

Crochet Hook 1.5 mm or any size that works for placing beads

Beads

Size 2 or 3 silver lined seed beads in red and green; each holly motif takes 14 green and 4 red beads
