Jan is great for a knitter with basic skills. It is an excellent first sweater knit and also first lace knit.

Stitches used, are rib and a simple lace eyelet pattern.

It has minimal shaping and is knitted in four separate pieces. It is designed with some wearing ease to allow the body to ‘blouse’ slightly over the ribbed welt.
