THE KNITONOMY BOSTON SWEATER

The Boston Sweater is a top down knit.
The back yoke is worked flat and shaped by increases.
The shoulders are worked separately in rows. Then, they are joined by casting on stitches at the center front.
The back and the front are joined at the underarms and the body is worked in the round. The stitches for the neckband are picked up along the neck edge and worked in rib.
The stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round to the cuff.
