The Koru Cowl by Julia Davies

The Koru Cowl

This soft and cosy cowl can be worn singly, or doubled for extra warmth.
It is knitted in the round, as a tube, and grafted together at the end.
You can knit to the length you desire.
The pattern can be knit in DK or Fingering weight yarns and would also work with worsted weight. There are separate charts for the DK or fingering weight yarns.
Finished sizes: 6 - 6 1/2 inches wide (15.5-16.5cm) and 46-48 inches in length (120-124cm)
Yarn required: these are approximations
Vintage Purls Max: 130g of each colour - 295yards(270m)
DK Alpaca: 130g of each colour - 286 yards(262m)
Vintage Purls Sock: 90g of each colour - 378 yards(345m)
Gauge isn’t particularly important.
Using two colours, it would also work well with one solid colour and one gradient colour like Noro or Zauberball.
It would also be a good way to use up leftovers - try one solid and then a colourful spectrum of your leftover yarns.
