Oh Sweet, sweet Sybil! She is definitely one of my favorite Downtown Abbey characters and oh the tears that I have shed over her no matter how many times I rewatch it. Kim of Kim Dyes Yarn has done an amazing job capturing the magic of these special characters in her Downton Abbey inspired color ways and I was absolutely thrilled when she sent me some skeins of Lady Sybil to play with in my designing. Just like Sybil pushed the boundaries of fashion for her day, I knew that I needed to push my design ideas and find something truly magical to represent Sybil. It also needed to be a sweet, feminine and delicate knit to embrace her gentleness and kindness. I chose a fan lace design for the back panel and a delicate beaded edging, paired with this brilliant pink color, I hope you love it as much as I do and find a moment to cherish Sybil.
