This hat is entirely made with small amounts of left overs. The more colours the merrier!
You can also use a gradient or multicoloured yarn togethter with a solid colour or simply two solid colours.

All the yarn used is so called sock yarn, with a yardage of 420 yards (380 meters)/100 grams.

Check your gauge carefully – I find that I purl at a much tighter gauge than what I knit.

There will be a lot of purling! And lots of ends to weave in… Be warned. But the resulting hat will look very special!
