Atop a throne of twig and fern, he whispers to the trees.
He dances barefoot in the moss, whilst stars sing to sleeping bees.
Acorn, owl, mushroom, fox, they pledge their loyalty,
But the Little King, though wise and kind, holds no sovereignty.
For in the forest, it must be known, everyone is wild and free.
