A romantic style blouse/jacket with voluminous lacey ruffles and a batwing style silhouette. The jacket begins with a rolled neckband. The yoke is then worked back and forth to shape the V-neck. There is a deep V-neck option and a shallow one. A smaller set of needles is used at the start and end of each row to work the neckline edging.

For the shallow neck, once complete the rest of the yoke is worked in the round, using smaller needles to continue a decorative panel down the front.

Stitches are then put on hold, and each front/top-sleeve/back panel is worked separately. Once all sections are complete stitches are picked up along the sleeve and body to work the undersides of the sleeves and sides of the body in a lacey open-honeycomb stitch. These are done as a front and back piece then bound together at the end using a three needle bind off.
