From the description: This top’s elegant drape, lacey laddered bar stitch and exotic material suggested more than just a vintage look - maybe cocktails in a distance place a long time ago? It is knitted in one piece from sleeve across to sleeve, leaving a slit for the neck.

Sash tension: The width of the sash pictured measures about 6.5cm. Don’t worry too much about a tension swatch - just take a width measurement when you are a little way along. You may prefer a slightly wider or narrower sash.

Finished measurements: The fit is loose, with approximately 15cm ease around the body, and very little ease at the high hip, so choose your size by your high hip measurement (or, if your tummy/waist is bigger than your high hip, go by that measurement). The underarm point on the top sits about halfway between your actual underarm and your high hip. See schematics for finished measurements.

Notes: Because of the silkiness of the yarn and the openness of the stitch pattern, the top stretches lengthways when it is worn. For example, the length from shoulder to hem excluding sash easily becomes 53cm when worn. The tension/number of stitches will affect the length of your top. The sleeve length and body width (ie. your size) are determined by measuring the length of your knitting from the cast-on edge.
