The Lorien Beanie is very special to me because I made it as a gift for a friend that is going through chemotherapy. I knew this was going to be worn on bare skin so I sought out to find the softest wool imaginable. I found it in WoolFolk’s “FAR” yarn. It’s 100% Merino wool and is an absolute dream. The stitch definition is beautiful and the beanie itself is lightweight and Warm. Mine is shown in the Number 001 and 006 colorways. If you don’t have Woolfolk yarn available to you then any worsted weight yarn will also work wonderfully.
