This is a quick scrappy project that can be completed while watching one movie! A few cleverly placed short rows curve the triangle so the kerchief doesn’t flop forward. A three-stitch applied i-cord adds just enough extra weight and provides the cutest contrasting trim. This is a perfect project for a beginning knitter eager to practice short rows, decreases and i-cording. The pattern even provides tips for where to place a “lifeline” so even if you make a mistake, you’ll never have to frog!
Edited July 2010: I created a video tutorial on creating an applied i-cord. To view it, click here.
