Introducing the Make-do jumper! This WWII era inspired jumper is a stash busting, creativity extravaganza! Written with the intent to use up fingering weight remnants, odds and ends, stash yarn, and the like, this coupon free jumper is a perfect opportunity to practice the Make do and Mend mentality and make something truly unique from what you have at home!

The original design concept came from a garment I saw while visiting the knitwear exhibit at Dovecot studios in Edinburgh. While I haven’t been able to come across the original 1940s pattern, it is likely based off an old knitting pattern that some savvy knitter brought to life with all the remnants from past projects.

Like all of the garments at Squid’s School of Vintage Knitting, the pattern uses a body measurement x gauge system that allows the knitter to put in their exact measurements for a perfect fit, making this pattern 100% size inclusive! More information is available over on patreon, which is where you can find the pattern!
