This scarf combines the perfect width and length with masculine ribbing. Still a great scarf for a woman but something I created with a man in mind.

For the black and grey scarf, I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky in black and Bernat Roving in Putty, changing colors every 5th row. When changing colors I ch 2 in the last st where I fastened off and went along with the pattern.

The 3rd and 4th photos are done in worsted weight to show you that the difference in weight doesn’t really change the look for the scarf. The 3rd photo, black and grey, is done in caron one pound in black and red heart super saver in heather. For the 4th photo I used caron one pound in claret.

Sometimes it’s hard to see the ch at the end that you need to work into. You will know if you crocheted over it or not because you need to have pairs of the same sts.
