Welcome to marled heaven! The Marley is a great way to explore color and creativity! This sweater lends itself to versatility. It can be a great stash busting project or a beautiful solid marled statement. The little stars throughout are an additional way to create your own flare. Randomly sprinkle them across the sweater as you choose. Whichever way you decide this sweater will become a beloved wardrobe staple. Throughout the sweater we will be holding three strands of fingering weight to achieve the desired marled effect. The stars can be added wherever you like and are worked by following the star chart. The directions will not tell you where to add them, that will be for you to decide. When you are ready to work a star, just place a stitch marker at the beginning and end of the 9 st pattern and work the star chart to its completion. When finished, remove the stitch markers and continue to work the sweater in stockinette.
