From the Stitch Description: This grotesquely grinning fellow is not a “little” pattern, since 44 rows are required to shape him. But he finishes off the Uncharted Miscellany with a juicy set of directions whose variety of stitch counts would make a rather unwieldy chart. Apart from other variations, the pattern begins with 30 sts, but one stitch is removed on Row 10 and never restored, so the final count is 29 sts.
