The Mimi hat is a very quick to knit hat that keeps your head very warm. I named it the Mimi hat after my niece Madeleine. Mimi is a high school senior girls soccer goalie and after putting the Pom Pom on my newly designed hat, we headed off to her state championship. It was a nail biter game and came down to penalty shots… Mimi came through saving 2 penalty kicks! After the game I was calling it my lucky hat (the horse shoe cable brings that home) and the Mimi Hat was named! I hope you enjoy knitting this hat as much as I loved watching my brother hug his daughter after the game.
