A semi-circular shawl knit from the top down. Beaded rays resemble the moon (or the sun). The shawl begins with an Icord cast on and finishes with an Icord bindoff.

The pattern comes in both a small and large size. The small size has 93 rows and the large size has 127 rows. The small is pages 2 to 4, large is pages 5 to 8. Small will take about 275 to 380 yards. Large will take about 600 to 700 yards.

Shawl shown was knit with size 6/0 beads, pattern includes instructions for non-beaded version. Beads are attached using the crochet hook method.

It is not imperative that gauge identified in pattern be achieved. Use a needle size that will result in the desired fabric.
