This pillow is designed for comfortable neck support. 3 gauges are given so it may be knitted on a standard, mid-gauge or bulky machine. The suggested yarns for each gauge are heavier than one would use for a garment so as to get a tight fabric that holds stuffing in well. To finish the pillow, some polyester fiberfill is also required. This pillow is made in 6 pieces and involved decreases and increases. There’s a Neck’s Best Thing #2 which uses short rows instead to create a similar shape. Both pillows are in the Blanket and Pillow Collection for All Knitting Machines Book.
