This simple and effortlessly comfortable skirt is knitted from the top down making it easy to adjust for the perfect fit. The pattern is available in a wide range of waist sizes from 24−40 inches but can be adjusted to fit any waist size or skirt length. The pattern given is for a particular length and fit but it is very easy to make alterations to this by adding or subtracting rounds between increases or reducing/increasing the number of increases worked overall - instructions on how to do this are given in the pattern.

Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight 100% Shetland wool
115m/125yds per 25gm ball
8 (9, 10) balls shade FC34 - MC
1 ball shade 1 - CC
1 3.25mm (US 4) circular needle
2.5cm (1 inch) wide elastic
Sewing thread and needle
