The North Loop of Minneapolis is the home of our son and his bride. It is hip, urban, young, happening, revitalized – a great place to start a life together.

The North Loop Cable floats on a checkered background, wandering this way and that through the neighborhood (or hat). Parts of the cable link together making it a bit of a puzzle to follow, but still easy to stitch. It is a quick knit in one or two skeins of your favorite worsted yarn. It is available in 2 sizes with both written and charted instructions.

Gauge is not essential for this project. The pattern is suitable for a range of yarn weights. Pattern yardage is calculated with worsted weight yarn. Adjust your needle size if you change yarn weights. Finished size and required yardage will vary with gauge and yarn weight.

Construction-This cowl is knit in the round from the edge to edge.

Skills Required-Casting on, working in the round, knit, purl and cables.
