This hat gives interest and style to the simple ribbed beanie with a woven plaid pattern. The ribbed pattern allows this hat to fit almost anyone with head sizes from 22” - 24”

The yarn required is about 145 yards for the MC and 50 yards for the CC.

The former Rice Hotel was built in 1927 and was as swanky a hotel as a small city could muster. Bought by Northern Illinois University and renamed the William Monat Building it now houses social science and health research. Though busy with the research of academics the lobby retains it’s former restrained splendor.
