Special Abbreviations

mosaicdc: double crochet in skipped stitch two rows below, in front of 2 ch spaces (front of work).
Mosaicdc goes always in same colour row below.

Pattern Notes

• Ch1 at beg of row does not count as st. First sc is always worked in same stitch as ch1.
• To change colour, work last sc of row in old colour up to final 2 loops on hook, draw through new colour to finish stitch.
• Do not fasten off yarn if not specified. Simply pick up yarn used two rows below.
• Pattern is worked from bottom up creating horizontal lines.
• Pattern is adjustable to any size using multiples of 16 sts + 12 sts including turning ch.

Chart Pattern Notes

• Every chart row represents two rows worked in same colour. First row creates pattern, second row reinforces it.
• Second row of every chart row is worked with 1sc in every sc or mosaicdc, ch2 over every ch-2 sp, ch3 over every ch-3 sp and ch4 over every ch-4 sp and so on.
• Each square in the chart represents one stitch.
• When squares appear in a row which are a different colour from colour in use, make a ch-sp to skip st(s) below: Ch2 to skip 1 square, ch3 to skip 2 squares, ch4 to skip 3 squares and so on.
• Mosaicdc is always worked in same colour row 2 rows below.
