Basically just one large chevron, the One Way Cowl is a quick crochet project that can be done in stripey-style or a solid color. I loved crocheting it Madelinetosh Home, but you could use any bulky weight yarn (all you need is about 210 yards!). It is crocheted entirely in half double crochet through the front loop.

Gauge is not super critical, and you have some wiggle room with the suggested yardage. I recommend starting with a US K (6.5mm) hook, and if your fabric is coming out looser or tighter than you’d like, switch to a smaller or larger hook.

Don’t forget the buttons! 5 buttons are required for the buttoned version of this cowl (though there are directions for a non-buttoned alternative). 1” - 1.25” diameter buttons work best. :)
