This is a simple sideway cardigan knitted on a standard gauge machine. It can be worn over a simple tee or top with pants or skirt or even over a summer dress. When knitting sideways with hand manipulated eyelets, the wrong side is equally pretty so I have designed it without a button band. Just add an i-cord for the closure and wear whichever side you fancy most.

I like this soft and squishy yarn with a lovely sheen. It is a blend of superwash merino and Mulberry silk in dk weight. Long colour repeat yarns has always been my favourite, so I have hand painted this yarn in a muted colour of the rainbow. Can be knitted with solid colour yarns as well but I just love the gradual change of colour that added some interest to this simple pattern.
