Underbust corset, knit bottom up with a vertical chevron stitch pattern. Pick up stitches along edges and knit eyelet section for lacing.

I can only wear corsets for a short period of time but I love their look. The Parquet corset provides the look and a bit of the shaping without making you utilize a fainting couch. The sewn in boning gives structure while the knitted fabric provides wonderful flexibility. The chevron pattern shows off variegated yarns delightfully. A sturdy linen stitch edging for the lacing provides strength and the chance to bind off really tightly (something I love to do). A ribbon casement for the boning is machine-stitched in after the knitting.
