“The Past” Wrap
This pattern has been created to use four different coloured skeins of yarn in a blended manner to create something very unique to your own taste of colour.

It is made holding double strands of yarn and interchanging the colours as you progress along the length of the wrap.

I chose to use hand dyed yarn that also has a texture element to it to greater enhance the colouring and mood I wanted to create that incorporates the colours and moods of a historical Scotland for me. Standing stones, lichen, bark and red flaming hair were all colour considerations. I also wanted this piece to look old and that it had a past.

The yarns used are listed in the requirements in the pattern, but of course the opportunity to use any four colours blended together lends itself to this design.
I hope you enjoy playing with a colour palette and create yourself a very special wrap.
The wrap is an easy knit with some textured detail to add interest and it has a diagonal slant to the work.
