Simple hat with a sleek cable down the front and back, that adds a hint of character and texture.
Ok, so I know lots of you knitters are very advanced and know how to knit almost anything, but some of you are just wrapping your head around it. I make this pattern beginner friendly so i don’t use abbreviations, except the cable ones. If you know how to knit them ignore the, parentheses after the abbreviations. If you don’t know how to knit cables look at the end of the pattern and I give you instructions on how to knit them.
I give you three different ways to do the brim of the hat. The length is also customisable. In the pattern I give the amount to make a fold up brim, but when it is not folded up it can be a slouchy.

  1. 2 by2 Ribbed Fold Up Brim.
  2. Twisted Rib Brim.
  3. Cabled Brim

The Gauge is 20 stitches per 4 inches.
