The Ribble Hat is knitted from the bottom up in super soft Katia Concept, Cotton-Merino (or any yarn that fits the gauge). It is a quick knit with a simple slip stitched cable feature that is easy to learn.

It can be made using two colours or all in one colour and takes just one ball of yarn (plus a little extra for the contrasting brim).

Gauge is 19 sts x 29.5 rows using US 7 (4.5 mm) needles in stocking stitch worked flat and blocked.

Sizes range from newborn to 24 months.

It can be constructed using DPN’s (double pointed needles), longer circular needles using the magic loop technique or the mini needles such as ChiaoGoo Twist Blue Shorties.
