So I’m a history nerd and if you’re looking at this pattern, then something inside you is at least a little bit as nerdy as me.

This is a roman-inspired shirt with the traditional color strips working in intarsia in one piece at once.

For this pattern, you’ll need three saparate balls of white yarn, four balls of red and golden yarn. You can play with the color schematics as you wish - I was going for the more senatorial-ish look of color choices.
And, if you want to make a full tunic out of it, the shirt is worked in stockinette so adding more rows does not require calculations of intricate patterns. I would, however, suggest keeping it at a shirt length to avoid a heavy cloth stretching and straining the neckline.

Please don’t hesitate to ask questions and point out mistakes in my pattern.
Hope you will enjoy this shirt!
