This ruffle skirt will please any age girl, and is worked up fast in the round. This pattern is a great stash busters for the sock knitter out there. The skirt is knit out of worsted weight yarn, but the ruffles are knit with sock yarn to make the ruffles lighter weight. There is a little seaming on the skirt.

I used a Wool blend Worsted or Aran weight yarn 130 (170, 210, 250, 290, 330, 370, 410, 450) yards
Wool blend Sock weight yarn 150 (180, 210, 240, 270, 300, 330, 360, 390) divide by three if you are doing 3 different color ruffles
I used a machine washable wool for convenience.
