Adapted from an original 1945 knitting pattern, the Scarecrow Vest is the perfect additional layer of warmth as the season shifts from summer to autumn. Made from worsted weight yarn and constructed in the round until you split for the armholes, this vest knits up in no time! The textured stitch pattern is easy to memorize, yet keeps you entertained as each little triangle materializes before your eyes. The vest can effortlessly be styled with a 1930s, 40s, or even 50s ensemble, and looks great with your favorite collared shirt underneath!
