The two sides of the The Shawl Collar are knit separately, shaped with increases and then short rows. The two sides are joined together seamlessly. Wear as a shawl, collar, and hood.Pattern includes 7 mini video classes for the special techniques used: the Crochet Chain Provisional Cast On, the I-Cord Cast On, the I-Cord Selvedge, Brioche Stitch, the Yarn Over increase, Garter Short Rows, and Kitchener Stitch.

· 7 skeins of Purl Soho Gentle Giant (100% Merino Wool; 48

· US 15 circular needles, 24” long
