I made this hat for the dentist I work for. He is an avid skier and asked for a hat like this specifically. I figured I would turn it into a pattern to share with y’all because I LOVE how it turned out, and smiles are for sharing! Today is my birthday, so it is fitting I give a gift to the amazing yarning community!

This pattern has not been tested, since I started this new job I have been SO busy, but please, if you find errors, do let me know and I will get right on it!

16 sts and 22 rounds = 4 inches in stockinette

Circumference of finished hat in inches: 16 (18, 20, 22)

US size 4 and 6 size 16 inch circular or size needed to obtain gauge in fair isle pattern.

Cascade 22 Solids and Heathers, held double in the following colors:

Storm Cloud (Gray): 80 grams (used as MC)
Natural (Cream): 34 grams
Ruby (Deep Red): 20 grams
Mallard (Deep Blue): 24 grams
