White bulky alpaca yarn; black, brown, burgundy & copper worsted acrylic yarn; 7 (4.5 mm) & E–4 (3.5 mm) crochet hooks or size needed to obtain tight stitches; two each of 5/8″ (15 mm) & 7/16″ (12 mm) safety eyes; fiberfill stuffing; black sewing thread; locking stitch markers; tapestry needle (large eye for worsted yarn); sewing needle (small eye for embroidery floss); brown pipe cleaner; two 1/2″ (13 mm) black buttons; optional: 3″ (7.5 cm) & 4″ (10 cm) diameter circular sachets filled with dried beans or rice to weight snowmen
