The Sutton Receiving Blanket is a really perfect baby blanket, if I don’t say so myself :) You can change your yarn depending on what you are looking for- acrylic/cotton for Spring/Summer or wool/wool blend for Fall/Winter. Depending on your yarn, this blanket can be lightweight and airy but will still provide warmth or super warm with wool.

I loved using this to cover my baby in an infant car seat. It was just the right size and kept her really warm. It was great for the stroller too.

This pattern is written in American English crochet terms.
