I designed this hat for Tanner Tilghman, a 14 year old who has a rare form of lymphoma and needed chemo caps. I made him one, but wasn’t happy with the decreases.

This pattern has instructions on how to avoid a jog when joining in the round, how to avoid a jog in your stripes (can you tell I don’t like jogs?!?), how to make your stripes look smooth, even in ribbing and how to decrease without making a mess of your hat!
