This pattern hat worked in round. Finished it off with pom pom.
If you want to work back & forth with straight needle,I also included tip how to convert the instruction to work in row instead of round.

Size: Adult (Head circumference 50-55 cms )
It’s very flexible with the cable stitches,if you do not block it.

GAUGE (TENSION)
17 st and 22 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch (Stocking st) with US size 8 5mm needle.

MATERIALS
- Yarn : DROPS Big Merino 100%wool 50g/75m ,Colour 01 2balls/100g.
Or any Aran 10 ply.

• 5 mm US size 8 (UK size 6 ) 20” (50 cm)long or Straight needle if work back-forth as you preferred.
• 5 mm US size 8 (UK size 6 ) one set of 5 double-pointed needles(dpn) as preferred if you are not comfortable with circ. needle .
• Cable needle.
• Stitch marker.
• Row counter.
• Tapestry needle.
