While I didn’t find out about Firefly until it was off the air, I was an insta fan the moment I got through the opening credits for the first time (and yes, I sing along with them every time I start an episode). Since then I’ve watched the show many times over, made a Jayne hat or two, and stood in line at Comic Con in San Diego several summers ago for more hours than I care to admit to see the 10 year reunion of the cast. It was shiny to say the least!

This pattern was originally released as the Firefly Binge Mystery Crochet Along with Jimmy Beans Wool in September 2015. While the binge MCAL has concluded, you can still enjoy crocheting this fun bandana-inspired cowl while watching/rewatching Firefly, or one of your other favorite shows!

The Yarn: While crocheted in the September 2015 Lorna’s Limited Edition colorway, Serenity, you can use any color of Shepherd Sport, or a similar weight yarn, about 400 yards.

In Additon to Yarn you’ll need:
US G (4.0mm) hook
US J (6.0mm) hook, or whatever larger size hook you’ve got lying around

Gauge:
16 stitches and 10 rows per 4” in Double Crochet on US G (4.0mm) hook
