This blanket is perfect as a baby blanket or a gift for your favorite turtle lover. You’ll enjoy watching your knitting grow as the baby sea turtles make their way from sand to sea with three very different stitch patterns.

Finished size: approximately 36” (91 cm) wide x 38” (96 cm) long

Materials:
• Approximately 1200 yds (1100 m) worsted weight yarn, such as Berroco Vintage
• Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles
• Tapestry needle
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers (colors A & B)

Required skills:
This is an intermediate or very adventurous beginner pattern. The turtles require a variety of increases and decreases as well as some small cables. All patterns are charted as well as written.

Note: This blanket may be worked with lighter or heavier weight yarns. If you change the yarn weight, make sure that you choose a needle size that gives you the drape you desire in the fabric. Yardage requirements will change based on yarn weight and gauge.
