This is a rectangular wrap consisting of fancy ribbed sections alternating with sections of pretty lace patterns. This wrap is knit straight on circular needles (straight needles would also work)
This wrap has been designed to be worn as a scarf or a rectangular shawl. It can also become an infinity scarf by buttoning the ends together!

The length can be adjusted by making less/more repeats in most sections.

Before blocking scarf measures 5ft by 1 foot
After blocking scarf measures 7 ft by 1.5 feet

For this project you will need:

Size 6 needles
A cable needle
Sewing needle
Matching buttons
550 yards of fingering weight yarn in a light or neutral color
550 yards of fingering weight yarn in a bright/darker shade that contrasts well with the light/neutral color.
(Gradients would look great!)
Yarn colors should be a mostly solid color so that the lace and ribbed sections can stand out.
