This pattern is available for free.

Gauge is not important to this project, as it’s a toy and not a garment. The only thing that matters is that you must knit tightly enough to ensure the stuffing will not show through the work. If if does show through, try a smaller-size needle.

I used Red Heart Super Saver because it was what I had on hand. This pattern would work well with any worsted-weight yarn you happen to have.

My dad wanted a walrus. I could not find a pattern that I liked well enough in knitting, so I devised one myself!
