This lace sock was inspired by waves rolling in on a beach and is part of the Coastal collection. It covers shoe sizes 5 to 11 and is meant to be a loose fitting sock.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters. Techniques used are:

  • knitting in the round
  • decreases and increases
  • dutch heel turn
  • knitting with dpn’s

What you need:

  • 280-400 yds of fingering weight yarn
  • size 2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles
  • stitch markers
  • tapestry needle
