The scarf is made with Tunisian crochet. A video demonstrates how to make the scarf and is easy to follow.

I made a scarf with a hole so children don’t have to make a knot. You can also exclude the hole and just make it with the simple stitch. I started the scarf with the rib stitch to prevent rolling. If you have done some Tunisian crocheting before, you may have noticed that the work tend to curl up. There are a few things you can do to prevent rolling. You should always go up a couple of sizes from what the yarn label is recommending. My yarn asked for a size 6 and I choose a size 8 mm crochet hook.
