What am I missing?
The World Series Sweater (aka The LUCKY Sweater)
I’ve published 101 patterns! To thank everyone for supporting me, I’m running a promotion of 50% off any self-published pattern until I publish my next pattern, bringing the total up to 102. This only applies to individual self-published patterns, but man, there are a lot of those! Pass on the news!
Just use the code 101.
Knit during the World Series in 2007, this sweater was first worn on the day after the Red Sox won it! At the time I was working a terrible jobjob, but on this lucky day the very first phone call I received was an offer for a new job, my current far-better jobjob!
The striping effect of the sweater is achieved by using 2 strands of 2 different colorways of yarn with long stripe repeats (in this case, one sweater used Evilla Vogarn and the other used Kauni Effektgarn). Shaping is achieved by changing needle sizes.
Instructions for bust sizes 32 to 56 inches are provided, but this sweater can be worn with more or less positive ease according to your taste. The raglan construction makes it simple to try on and customize.
May it bring you all the luck it’s brought me!
