This pattern was used by my shop as our first “Mystery Sock” project. It is great fun, but not recommended for those who haven’t made socks before, due to some unusual techniques. You will need a skein of Chameleon Colorworks “Footsie” or “Bambino”. We had this color dyed specially for our shop; it’s our logo colors and is not generally available in this colorway. There are many other colorways from Chameleon Colorworks that would look great. You can also substitute just about any fingering weight sock yarn and get good results. This sock is a challenge - but is definitely worth it!

You will need:
36 Mill Hill 6º beads, color 16617 (18 beads for each sock) and 36 Slimline buttons, 3/16”, color V202 Red (18 buttons for each sock).

With this pattern, you will learn to add “tabs”, buttons, and beads to your knitting. You will need to learn to knit in the round and how to pick up and knit stitches.
